About the English Placement Test (SBS)—October 20, 2025 (for Additional Quota Students)

The English Language School Placement Exam (SBS) will be administered on Monday, October 20, 2025, for students who have been placed at TED University through the additional quota. The exam consists of 125 questions and lasts 130 minutes. It will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in Room B341 (located in Block B, on the Hüdaverdi side of the campus).

To allow time for necessary preparations, students must be present in the exam room by 9:00 a.m.

IMPORTANT: Before coming to the exam, please make sure you have read and understood the following.

Students must bring a valid photo ID (such as a national ID card, driver’s license, or TEDU student card).
Students without valid identification will not be allowed to take the exam.

Students must bring their own pencils, erasers, mechanical pencil leads, and sharpeners.
You are also advised to bring extra supplies, as borrowing materials from other students or invigilators is not allowed.

Dictionaries are not permitted in the exam room.

No food is allowed in the exam room.
Students may bring water only if the bottle label has been removed.

All electronic devices (including phones, smartwatches, etc.) will be collected by invigilators before the exam begins.
Please ensure all devices are switched off before handing them over.
