OUR APPROACH TO THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
When designing the educational program, we adhere to three educational values: restructuring, being progressive, and adopting constructivist education.
Through the restructuring approach:
- Contribute to individuals' and society's development through education,
- Support the development of not only grammar but also language skills,
- Prioritize higher-order outcomes such as creative and critical thinking,
- Encourage students to think about local, national, and international issues,
- Emphasize the creation of a democratic atmosphere in the classroom.
Through the progressive approach:
- Focus not only on the final outcome but also on progress made during the educational process,
- Support a student-centered approach where learning is applied and practiced,
- Highlight the importance of students shaping their learning processes, deriving conclusions through problem-solving methods, and actively participating in the class for critical thinking.
Through the constructivist approach:

FRAMEWORK OF THE COURSE PROGRAM
Our educational program is built around two fundamental principles: creation and repetition. Therefore, the arrangement of learning outcomes follows a spiral approach from simple to complex. This means that some outcomes are repeated at the same level throughout the program, with new information added each time.
Two different approaches are adopted in designing the educational program. The first is the "thematic approach," and the second is the "skill-focused teaching approach."
Through the thematic approach:
- Establish tighter connections between ideas,
- See and use the structures and new words to be taught in a meaningful context,
- Aim for frequent repetition of new words within the same themes.
Through the Skill-Focused Teaching Approach:
- Teach language as a whole entity,
- Prepare and use activities that facilitate meaningful communication,
- Organize content to cover all language skills comprehensively.
