Attention to Additional Quota Students and Former Entrants Who Have Exceeded the Maximum Duration of Study

English Placement Exam (EPL) for students admitted to our university through additional quota will be held on September 26, 2024, at 09:30. The results of the EPL will be announced on the English Language School website under the Announcements section by 18:00 on the same day.

Based on their performance in the Placement Test, students will either qualify to take the TEDU EPE (English Proficiency Exam) on September 27, 2024, or be placed in the most suitable level at TEDU English Language School according to their SBS results. You can access the exam content and sample questions on the English Language School website under the “Proficiency Exams” section (https://els.tedu.edu.tr/tr/els/seviye-belirleme-sinavi-sbs).

In addition, the EPE on September 27, 2024, can only be taken by former entrants who have exceeded the maximum two-year duration in the English Language School Preparatory Program, students who have been dismissed, in accordance with Article 9(1) of the English Language School (ELS) Education and Examination Directive ((https://www.tedu.edu.tr/sites/default/files/docs/kys-yn-09-ingilizcedilokuluegitimogretimvesinavyonergesi-rev20-23112023_0.pdf)). 

These students will utilize one of their three attempts to take the EPE within a three-year period, as stated in Article 9(b) of the ELS Education and Examination Directive.

Students wishing to take the exam must send their Name, Surname, ID Number, Mobile Phone Number and exam fee details to els@tedu.edu.tr by 17:00 on Friday, September 20, 2024. (Students admitted through additional quota do not need to send an email.)
