About August Mock EPE
Dear Students,
You are going to have AUGUST MOCK EPE at 14:00 on Tuesday (25.08.2020) and at your allocated time and 16:30 on Wednesday (26.08.2020). Please check the attached lists for your AUGUST MOCK EPE sections and time allocations. Students who do not wait in the waiting room of the designated sections WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to take the exam. Please check the PDF file carefully and note down your sections for both days along with your time allocations to take the Speaking exam.
In order not to cause any delay during the exam, you are expected to make necessary arrangements beforehand. That's why reading the attached documents is a MUST. Also, if you haven't properly configured your device for Safe Exam Browser, you WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE THE EXAM. If you have any problems related to installing the required software and application, please check the link: https://remote.tedu.edu.tr/tr/remote/english-proficiency-exam and if you need further support, please contact the IT department via https://remote.tedu.edu.tr/tr/remote/destek
You will access AUGUST MOCK EPE on a new Moodle page named 2020S_AUGUST_MOCK_EPE, not on your regular level Moodle pages.
Below is the duration for each part and the flow of the exam:
Reading: 90 minutes
Writing: 60 minutes
Listening: 29 minutes (approx.)
There will be one Zoom session on Tuesday:
SESSION 1: Reading & Writing (14:00)
There will be two Zoom sessions on Wednesday:
SESSION 1: Speaking (13:30)
SESSION 2: Listening (16:30)
REMINDERS:
- Check your name from the student lists attached for the sessions that you are going to take the exam in. The lists are in an alphabetical order by surname. You are not going to take the exam in your regular class sections.
- LATECOMERS ARE NOT ALLOWED to take the exam.
- You MUST NOT leave the Zoom session between Reading & Writing parts but you may take a break away from the screen with your cameras and microphones turned on.
- There will be another Zoom session with the same section name in the afternoon for the Listening part on Wednesday.
- The exam grades will only be shared with you on 2020S_AUGUST_MOCK_EPE gradebook, not any earlier than 28th August. Please do not contact your class instructors for your exam grade-related questions. Such questions WILL NOT BE ANSWERED in the meantime.
