Student Lists and Announcements for September 13-14.09.2021 EPE
Dear Students,
You are going to have the English Proficiency Exam (EPE) on 13.09.2021 Monday and 14.09.2021 Tuesday. The Listening, Reading and Writing parts of EPE will be done face to face on 13.09.2021 and the Speaking part will be done online through Zoom on 14.09.2021. Please check the lists for your EPE sections on Monday and time allocations for Tuesday. Students are required to read the procedures for both days:

Students whose names are on the list but do not take the EPE exam will be placed in A Level.
Please be informed that the Speaking section of the exam will be on Zoom and your session number on Monday is DIFFERENT for the Speaking part of the exam on Tuesday. Steps to follow:
1- Please check the list and find out your time for the exam.
2- Please join your Zoom session by using the "Zoom ID Number" on the list a few minutes before your allocated time. You will see a message “The meeting host will let you in soon.” This means that you are in the waiting room. Do not panic and do not leave this room.
3- Please wait until the instructors let you in.
In order not to cause any delay during the exam, you are expected to make necessary arrangements beforehand for all seatings on Monday and the online speaking exam on Tuesday.
You need to have Zoom app installed on your mobile device/computer or use your pc’s browser to launch Zoom app. You can watch the following video to help you install the application (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNw_wIeOM7U). Detailed information will be given in the classrooms after the Writing part of the exam is over.
You can also contact https://remote.tedu.edu.tr/tr/remote/destek if you experience any problem before the exam day.
Below is the flow of the exam:
- 13.09.2021: There will be two sessions on Monday
SESSION 1: Writing (starts at 09:30)
LUNCH BREAK
SESSION 2: Reading & Listening (starts at 13:30)
- 14.09.2021
SESSION 3: Speaking: 10 mins approx. (via Zoom)
REMINDERS:
- Check your name from the student lists for the sessions that you are going to take the exam in. The lists are in an alphabetical order by your names.
- LATECOMERS ARE NOT ALLOWED to take the exam.
- If you cannot connect to your Zoom session for the Speaking part, you can use "879 892 0380" to join the HELP Session for EPE.
- If you cannot connect to Zoom at all, please contact 0 312 585 01 26 or e-mail els@tedu.edu.tr.
- The EPE results will be shared with you on TEDU Portal not earlier than September, 21st. The results for MA students, dismissed students and students whose registration has not been officially completed will be published on TEDU ELS Announcements web page. Please do not contact your class instructors for your exam grade-related questions. Such questions WILL NOT BE ANSWERED in the meantime.
