Dear Students,

The English Proficiency Exam (EPE) will be held face-to-face in the designated exam venues on Monday, 5 October 2026 and Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

The exam venues and Speaking Exam time slots are listed below. The list is in alphabetical order. You can find yourself on the list using the last three digits of your student ID and the initial letters of your name.

Please read the EPE Exam Procedures for Students carefully before the exam.

IMPORTANT: Your venue for the Speaking Exam on Tuesday, 6 October may be different from your venue for the Listening & Reading and Writing sessions on Monday, 5 October. Please check your venue for each day separately and carefully.

Exam Flow

The exam consists of three sessions.

Monday, 5 October 2026 – Sessions 1 and 2

You will take the Listening & Reading and Writing sessions in the same exam venue.

There will be a short break after the Listening & Reading session, followed by the Writing session.

Tuesday, 6 October 2026 – Session 3: Speaking

Speaking Exams will start at 10:00. Each student's time slot is indicated individually on the list.

Please report to the relevant waiting area 5 minutes before your time slot. To avoid overcrowding and noise in the waiting area, please do not arrive any earlier. Students who are more than 2 minutes late for their time slot will not be admitted to the Speaking Exam.

The Speaking Exam is an individual task; each student takes the exam facing two assessors.

Important Reminders

• Make sure you check your exam dates, venues and Speaking Exam time slot on the published list.
• For every session of the exam, bring your TEDU Card or another ID on which your photo is clearly identifiable (national / international ID card, driver's licence, e-Devlet document, passport). Students who cannot present a valid ID will not be admitted to the exam.
• During the exam, you may only have pencils, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, a bottle of water and tissues on your desk. The optical answer sheet must be filled in with a pencil.
• Electronic devices must be switched off and handed in to the invigilators before the exam starts. Please do not bring large electronic devices such as laptops, tablets or over-ear headphones to the exam venue.
• Students who are late for the Listening & Reading session will not be admitted while the Listening part is in progress. They may join the rest of the exam after the first 45 minutes, once the Listening part is over, by filling in and signing the Late Arrival Form. Students who are more than 45 minutes late will not be admitted to the exam.
• Students who are late for the Writing session will not be admitted to the exam venue.
• There is no make-up exam for the English Proficiency Exam.

Exam Results

Exam results will be announced on the TEDU Portal for registered students and on the ELS website for non-registered students after 18:00 on 6 October 2026.

The appeal process for exam results will take place on 7, 8 and 9 October 2026.

Instructors will not answer any questions about exam results until they have been announced.
