7 September 2026 English Placement Exam (EPL) Announcement

Dear Students,
The English Placement Exam (EPL) will be held on Monday, 7 September 2026. Students must be in their assigned exam rooms by 09:00. The student/classroom lists are available through the link below.

Campus entrances
For classrooms in Blocks A, B, or K, use the İncesu Entrance (next to Hüdaverdi Bakery).
For classrooms in Blocks D or DB, use the Aksu Entrance (the main entrance opposite Kurtuluş Park).
For classrooms in Block G, use the Ziya Gökalp Street Entrance (opposite Hüdaverdi Bakery).
For classrooms in Block F, use either the Ziya Gökalp Street Entrance or the Aksu Entrance.
If you cannot find your exam room or your name is not on the list, please go to the exam centers in B340 or G101.

English Placement Exam (EPL) Procedures for Students

Students must present a valid identity document, such as a national identity card, driver's license, or TEDU ID card. International students may present their passports. Students without a valid identity document will not be admitted to the exam.
Students must bring a pencil, an eraser, pencil leads, and a pencil sharpener, together with spare supplies. They may not borrow exam materials from other students or invigilators.
All electronic devices must be switched off and handed to the invigilator before the exam begins.
Students may not leave the exam room during the first 30 minutes or the last 10 minutes of the exam.
Students who leave the exam room may not return unless there is an emergency. In an emergency, they must inform an invigilator.
Dictionaries are not permitted in the exam room.
Food is not permitted in the exam room.
Students may bring water into the exam room only in bottles with the labels removed.
If an invigilator suspects academic misconduct, an incident report may be filed without a prior warning. The student's exam may consequently be declared invalid.
Students must sign the cover page of their exam booklet. Their exam result may be declared invalid if the page is not signed.
Students must correctly code the booklet type and classroom code on the optical answer sheet. Missing or incorrect coding may invalidate the exam result.
Exam booklets and optical answer sheets may not be removed from the exam room.
Students may not ask invigilators questions about the exam content.

Accessing Exam Results
Students will be able to access their exam results through the TEDU Portal at https://my.tedu.edu.tr/. To log in to the portal, they must use the username and password provided in the email sent from noreply@tedu.edu.tr. This email may have been delivered to the Junk or Spam folder. Students should therefore check these folders as well. Students who have not received the email or experience problems logging in to the portal must send an email to help@tedu.edu.tr from their institutional email accounts ending in @tedu.edu.tr.
