About English Placement Exam
Dear students,
TED University English Language School English Placement Exam (EPL) will be held as two different sessions on September 5th, 2023 in the morning and afternoon. Information regarding students’ sessions and exam venues will be shared later. The table below shows the flow of the exam. Students are required to be on campus at the expected time of arrival so that necessary preparations before the exam can be made.

Make sure that you are informed about the points below before the exam day.
- Students need to provide a valid identity card such as their national identity card, driver’s license, or TEDU ID card. For international students, their passport is enough. Students who fail to provide any accepted document will not be admitted to the exam.
- Students are expected to have a pencil, a pen, a rubber and a pencil sharpener. Students are recommended to have a spare pen, pencil and a spare rubber as well. Students will not be able to borrow any of these materials from each other or the invigilator.
- Students are not allowed to use dictionaries.
- Students are not allowed to take any type of food to the exam room.
- Students are allowed to take water bottles with them to the exam room after its label is removed.
- The invigilators will collect all electronic devices before the start of the exam. Students need to turn off all their electronic devices and hand them in to the invigilators.
