ATTENTION TO STUDENTS APPLYING TO THE ENGLISH PREPARATORY PROGRAM UNDER THE STUDENT AMNESTY

Under Law No. 7592, which was published in the Official Gazette on 9 August 2026 and entered into force, and within the scope of Provisional Article 85 added to Higher Education Law No. 2547, individuals whose enrollment at higher education institutions was terminated, as well as those who were placed in a higher education program but were unable to register, have been granted the opportunity to return to higher education.

Those wishing to benefit from this regulation may apply by 9 December 2026 to the higher education institution from which their enrollment was terminated or at which they had earned the right to register. Students whose applications are accepted will be able to resume their studies in the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

Students who were placed at the University but did not register, and those who left before completing the English Preparatory Program, will take the English Proficiency Exam (EPE) on one of the dates specified below. Students who demonstrate the required performance on the EPE will begin their undergraduate studies, while those who do not will continue in the English Preparatory Program.
