Regarding the 2025–2026 Academic Year Fall Semester EPE Exam Procedures and Exam Venues

Dear Students,

Students who are currently enrolled in the English Language School Preparatory Program can access the exam venue and procedures lists via the LMS. Students who are not part of the Preparatory Program can find their exam venue, time, and procedures in the lists attached.

You are going to have the English Proficiency Exam (EPE) on 21.01.2026 (Wednesday) & 22.01.2026 (Thursday)  in the allocated classrooms. Please check the list for your EPE classrooms for both days. Students are required to read the procedures for all sections of the exam.
 

Below is the flow of the exam: 


THE WHOLE EXAM CONSISTS OF 3 SESSIONS
 

-    21.01.2026 WEDNESDAY - TWO sessions of EPE: You will take both parts in the same classrooms.
SESSION 1: Listening & Reading Part (starts at 09.30. Please be in your classrooms 15 minutes earlier at the latest.)

BREAK

SESSION 2: Writing Part (starts at 12.35)


-    22.01.2026 THURSDAY - The THIRD session of EPE:
SESSION 3: Speaking Exam (starts at 10.00) 
Approximately 7 minutes are allocated for each student including exam preparation and speaking time (students are expected to be present in their exam rooms at the allocated times stated on the student list and they must be in their exam venue 5 minutes earlier than their time slot).

REMINDERS:
- Check your name on the student lists attached for the sessions that you are going to take the exam. 
- Please remember to bring your TEDU ID card, a second ID document for verification (national ID card, passport, or driver’s license), and a pencil with you to the exam. Optical marking will only be accepted if done with a pencil.
- Do not bring large electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, or over-ear headphones to the exam venue.
- LATECOMERS ARE NOT ALLOWED to take the exam. 
- Results regarding whether students pass or fail will be announced in the Announcements section on the TEDU ELS website on 26.01.2026.  Please do NOT contact your instructors or ELS secretary for your exam results-related questions. Such questions WILL NOT BE ANSWERED in the meantime. 
Objection petitions regarding exam results will be accepted in accordance with Section 2, Article 8.4 of the TED University School of Foreign Languages Education, Training, and Examination Directive on the dates of January 27, January 28, and January 29, 2026. Petitions can be submitted either in person to the ELS administrative office or via email from students' official 'tedu.edu.tr' email addresses to els@tedu.edu.tr. Objections or objection petitions submitted outside of the specified dates will NOT be accepted.
